It must be love
His snoring doesn't bother me
So things are going well with you and the
cub. Your friend's are over your furry
cuteness, and yet they till tolerate him and
you incessant chatting about "cub did
this," "cub did that." Hell, your cat
even likes his dog. It must be love.
You guys are ready to take the big leap and
move into together. You've been a bear on
the go ad your collection of bear run
t-shirts take up the spare closet. He has
his grandmother's dining room set and you
have no more space. How does this work?
We turned to a favorite organizer Peggy
Hughes. She offered a little advice.
"When merging two households, you end up
with two, sometimes three or four, of
everything. Furniture decisions are pretty
easy - you'll both figure out what fits, what
looks good, and what works.
Here's a great tip to help you decide what
to keep and what to give away with all the
rest of your duplicate household goods:
Pick out the newest, nicest item to use,
and box up all the rest. Write an inventory
of what is in each box and keep the boxes for
six months. If you don't need to use anything
in the boxes within the six month period,
they are ready to be given away or donated!"
See how easy that was? Now, about the ex
still calling . . .
